How do you choose a type scale for your design/website?

I've been looking into type scale so my designs can look more "harmonious".
So they have a bunch of these terms for type scales like:
Major Third, Perfect Fourth, Augmented Fourth,... reminds me of music or something.
My question is how do you know which one to pick? Do you pick based on the "contrast" (bigger means higher contrast) or different media require different scales? (like print/banner vs web/app)

Top Comment: So, that site is only functionally providing the math and css based on YOUR aesthetic. There is no right, there is no wrong (unless your talking WCAG, but that's a different discussion). There is what you like and what you feel describes and visualizes your style through typography. There is design theory, that uses fourths, thirds, golden ratio, etc. but again, these are guides to help young designers organize information, direct a readers eye, etc. As Picasso said, `Learn the rules only so you know how to break them`. Alot of people on r/typography and other design adjacent boards like r/AdobeIllustrator confuse design with technical and/or functional aspects of design. Now go forth and design
Got the AKG Type C ANC for sale here for just 25$!(Down from the regular 60$ price here before). This is just a steal at this price. Looks much more premium and is thicker than the stock AKG. Bass is more maybe and the ANC works sooo good. I don't get it why didn't Samsung advertise this!

I don't know if I'm tripping or not but I remember seeing somewhere that the steam version is gonna be on sale on release is that true or am I just tweakin? (Also is the deluxe edition worth it?)

(IL) received 1099k on eBay/online garage sale type sales, how do I report these as a loss?

I am well aware as to why I received a 1099k, as my state has a low threshold. (Thanks, IL. If I had known they changed it, I wouldn't have sold anything). At any rate, I received a 1099k for my eBay sales and misc PayPal sales of personal goods/items sent to friends and family that I was reimbursed for. I made no money off these items, and the eBay/misc other item sales were at a loss vs what I paid when added up. There may have been one or two items that gained value since I bought them, but not many. And I had intended to sell them as an online garage sale, not as a business. How would I put it on my taxes that I'm not a business, and I actually didn't earn a profit whatsoever vs what I paid? At this time, I'd have to pay $1200 in taxes (on $6000 worth of garage sale items, which STILL seems high) which is ridiculous, as I didn't earn anything vs what I paid. I was trying to clear out my house, and the items sent were for friends and by and large was just reimbursements. Which I understand is not freaking taxable. The $1200 is for some reason also ignoring the contributions I made to my taxes for my actual job too for some reason. I shouldn't have to pay $1200 on top of what I paid already. So, how the heck do I show that this was basically reimbursements and garage sale income, and reduce that high bill? Any help would be appreciated.

Just because you got a 1099-K doesn’t necessarily mean you have to put that number somewhere on your tax return. Personal property sold at a loss isn’t taxable income and doesn’t need to be reported. Reimbursements probably don’t need to be reported either. I would only report those items you know you sold for a profit. Keep as many records as necessary to substantiate all of this in case the IRS asks.

Ooof, I might be part of this recall/stop sale, although my seat hasn't been squeaky. Kinda scary knowing that I could have died in a crash from a bad seat weld lol.
Maybe this will lower the markups lol?
